Furious Hillary Punched

December 26, 1998 London Daily Mirror)PRESIDENT Clinton's secret service bodyguards had to pull Hillary off him when she attacked him shortly before he was impeached, it was claimed Friday night.
Sources in Washington D.C. say that the First Lady, stressed out by his self-confessed womanizing and threats of being booted out of office, smacked him so hard she left a visible mark on his face.
Clinton told one agent: "Keep that bitch away from me," according to the Enquirer magazine which reported the shocking bust-up.Screaming Hillary
She hit him soon after they arrived back in the US. from Israel when they had a screaming match in the White House on December l9th.
On the trip they had separate compartments on Air Force One and she was noticeably cool to the president, drawing away from him on more than one occasion in public.
She was even captured in TV footage pulling away from him, rejecting him when he tried to take her arm. Hillary, who's reportedly told him she's considering divorce, confided to a close friend: "I worked so hard all my life to get us where we are and that idiot husband of mine has ruined it.
"I now have to make a life for myself. It's all over with him."
As the impeachment controversy engulfed the couple and daughter Chelsea, l6OO Pennsylvania Avenue became a battleground.
One source in the capital said: "The verbal fights between Bill and Hillary have been escalating and now the president has been physically assaulted.
"Hillary just snapped. She lost it and smacked the president across the head. He was stunned.Slick Now Wears Makeup
"The blow was so hard it left a visible bruise and he put make-up on for several days to cover the red mark.
"Secret Service agents had to physically separate them and keep them apart. Hillary then went off to another room.
"These bodyguards have to protect the president -- even it's from the First Lady.
"In the past, she's thrown books and an ashtray at him. and she's scored with them all. The Secret Service genuinely believes one day she'll do him harm.
"At one point, he told an agent, 'Keep that bitch away from me. I don't want to do anything that'll get me into more trouble.'
"The Secret Service now try to keep the pair apart when they're not at public functions because invariably they get into awful screaming matches.
Just hours before the couple walked out of the White House holding hands after the impeachment vote on December l9, there was an explosion in the presidential quarters.
"And it was the First Lady doing most of the screaming."
The magazine says that the recent level of violence in the Clinton household hasn't been seen since the Gennifer Flowers scandal during his first presidential campaign.
"Hillary has a vicious temper and when the Flowers scandal erupted, she physically attacked him by punching and scratching," added the source.
"She'll make public appearances with him just for the sake of his image, but she's not making as many as he's asked her to. Behind closed doors she lets him have it over and over.Talking Divorce
"Hillary has told Bill she's already thinking about a separation and divorce.
"She's considering a run for the Senate and has also expressed interest in an ambassadorship or a position with the United Nations."
Another insider said: "The First Family is in ruins. Bill is a broken man. Hillary's nerves are raw. And poor Chelsea is angry with her father for the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
"But even though their daughter has sided with her mother, she still loves dad.No Fake Church, for the Moment
"That's why when Hillary couldn't face going to church with Bill the day after the impeachment, Chelsea chose go with him."
He added: "The president is a mess. He's been gorging on fast foods again. But he's determined to stay in office.
"On the trip to Israel, people said afterwards, 'It was as if his touch revolted her.'
"In her mind, Bill betrayed not only herself, but also their dreams of bringing changes to America -- because he couldn't keep his pants on."
